FACETA - Tanzania's main target groups are Vulnerable children and Women. We aim to empower women trough capacity building by promoting entrepreneurship to OVC guardians.
HOW WE DO IT
FACETA-Tanzania as NGO empowers rural women through policies that help them in growing , marketing, Adapting, Caring, Connecting and Leading such as;
To improve women farmers marketing skills through entrepreneurship training.
To support community based, small scale renewable bio-energies
To provide rural women with adaption funds, risk management programs and training on the impacts climate change impacts
To promote the development of of village based knowledge centers
To support women’s cooperatives and their participation in mixed cooperatives.
To increase the number of women extension agents and train existing male extension agents to become more gender sensitive
To empower women in their roles as household managers and caregivers, which is a proven strategy for enhancing food security and nutritional outcomes especially for children.

Expanding businesses,
Building wealth women can leave to their children.
As women’s economic position grows stronger, whole families benefit. In addition, as women gain economic self-sufficiency, they participate more actively in village life and assume leadership roles to benefit the larger community.Small businesses include batik-making, fruit and vegetable stands, breeding goats and cattle for meat and milk, hair salons, and laundry services.
FACETA-Tanzania’s integrated micro-loan and savings enhancement approach advances women’s economic self-reliance. All of FACETA-Tanzania’s micro-loan and savings programs include training in best business practices.
